Release date: 2025-03-24 (updated 2025-03-26 - V.7.3.1 | updated 2025-04-23 - V.7.3.1)

You love new features, but you also wanted us to refine what’s already there. Thanks to your feedback, we’re excited to bring you Lychee Slicer 7.3.1, a new version focused on fixing annoying bugs, solving pain points, and enhancing your overall slicing and printing experience.

  • [HOTFIX 7.3.2] We fixed: Missing build plate on Anycubic Photon / Photon S & UI crashes when switching printers or launching the slicer.
  • [BUG FIX 7.3.2] We fixed: Broken Documentation Links - Several in-app links (e.g., general info, CTBV4 format, object notes, hollow blockers, late supports, community profile, exportable holes, and batch tools) were leading to 404 errors. They now correctly point to the right documentation pages.
  • [BUG FIX 7.3.2] We fixed: Incorrect Z Height for YMD Falcon Pro: the printer's Z value was incorrect—now set to the right size for accurate slicing.
  • [BUG FIX 7.3.2] We fixed: Default Resin Profile Exposure Time on Voxelab Polaris The exposure time in the default resin profile was off.
  • [HOTFIX 7.3.1] - Bug Fixes: We fixed a critical bug that could corrupt scenes during certain geometry operations.

Major Fixes

  • CTRL + Shift + E Shortcut – The "Export Selected Object" shortcut now works as expected.
  • Saving Empty Scenes – Previously, attempting to save an empty scene was impossible. This has been fixed.
  • Transparent Navigation Tabs – The Resin and Filament menus no longer appear transparent when returning from Preferences.
  • External Drive Saving – On Windows, scene files (.lys) can now be saved at the root of a drive.
  • Shift + Drag Select for Supports – Selecting supports with SHIFT + drag now works consistently without deselecting other supports.
  • Reload Last Scene Dialog Checkbox – The “Do not show again” checkbox now properly prevents the dialog from reappearing.
  • Creality Halot One Screen Ratio – Corrected the height/width ratio in sliced files for the Creality Halot One, causing UVTools to alert on an incorrect ratio.
  • Hole Editing & Wi-Fi Printer Reset – Gizmo no longer resets when using advanced features (planar cut, hole advanced mode) with a Wi-Fi printer connected.
  • Files Not Opening in Recent Versions – Fixed a bug causing some files from older versions to take a long time to open on recent versions, which worked fine in 5.2.

Other Fixes

  • Creality Halot Mage S slicing issue – Objects no longer appear "zoomed in" and cropped from the slicing frame.
  • Blockers disappearing when modifying holes – Moving holes in a model with hollow blockers no longer causes blockers to vanish.
  • Island detector navigation – Deleting an island now correctly jumps to the next island.
  • Proximity detector fix –Some supports inside the model are now flagged as invalid. Further improvements are ongoing.
  • Large geometry slicing – Delta printers can now slice large geometries without issues.
  • Export crash fix – Invisible objects can no longer be exported to STL/OBJ, preventing crashes.
  • Printer upgrade cancellation – The cancel button now functions correctly in the printer upgrade prompt/modal.
  • Collision support highlight – Supports touching the object are now properly highlighted in red in real time.
